I seem to be having issues with images uploaded as attachments ever since they changed. I can still view them fine when I click on the thumbnails but when I click the 'next/previous' button or try to close the image I just get little red loading circle for ages and I always end up having to close that tab and re-open the page. Is this likely to be an issue with my computer/settings or a site thing? I pressume the former since nobody else has complained but I don't know how to fix it so please help :)
I use Windows Explorer.
EDIT: Oh, and on a completely unrelated subject, I recently uploaded a lot and can't actually see it on the downloads page. I updated my profile to say that I have all the EP/SPs 'cause I thought that might be the problem but it still doesn't appear. When I look at my subscribed threads I can see it though and I've had comments so I know others can see it.

Did you mean that you use, "Internet" Explorer, if so, what version and does it have, "compatibility veiw?"

Oops, yeah, that's what I meant, lol. I use Internet Explorer 8 v8.0.7600 How do I tell if I have compatability view? Sorry, I don't know much, I can use a computer to to what I need it to do but I don't question how or why it works....that only leads to me breaking it
EDIT: I googled it and am now in the process of updating so will let you know if the updates fix my problems.

So I did the windows update and now I can click on the thumbmails and use the previous/next button as normal but it still crashes when I try to close the images. I have to click back or close the tab to get out of it.
With ref not seeing my download, it occured to me that I haven't seen any downloads that require Late night (though I have selected that I own this in my profile) for a while so I went through all the downloads as far back as the end of October and sure enough, according to my view of MTS there has been no uploads requiring Late night (though I also uploaded another lot in this time that required it). I double checked my 'owned games' in my profile and I definitely have them all selected. Am I missing something?

The closing bug should be fixed as soon as the style caches flush, which is some point in the next 24 hours (although on at least one of the servers it works fine on IE).
As for the downloads not showing up - make sure you are either on "All" downloads, or "Compatible". Check the Filter box for more details.
For example you should definately see Late Night stuff here: http://www.modthesims.info/browse.php?gs=2&f=143&gs=2&showType=1&gameOrig=1&tag=&filter%5B%5D=0&typenormal=1&typepicked=1&typefeatured=1&username=&csort=0&go=Filter+Downloads

I just checked on both servers, using IE 8.0.7600, and the download images work fine for both browsing through and also closing the box.

Hmmm......without even touching my profile/settings I clicked on your link on the off chance that it would work and it did, I saw LN downloads. So I checked all downloads and then flicked through some images and closed them.....I have no idea what happened but either you fixed something you didn't mention above or my computer just decided to pull it's finger out. Either way, I don't seem to have any more issues with it :)

Well, my link is set to showType=1, which is to show All downloads, not just compatible ones. When you click on this link it "remembers" the last setting you used (in this case, all), and uses that from now on (via a cookie), hence why it suddenly "fixed" stuff. However, I suspect your original problem was that you'd accidentally clicked on one of the other filters (maybe Requires...) and set that as your default instead.
If you get issues like this in future, just make sure to select "All" in the filter, and it should reset everything. :)
