Hot Springs tomb ending problem

Okay, so my sim is in the last room in that tomb, the one holding the three chests. She finds the relic in the middle one and goes to the well and the end message pops up. So good so far. But then she doesn't get the option to deliver the relic. The small box still says: Find the relic.

Basically I am unable to complete this mission and I was wondering if someone could tell me if I'm missing something here? Is this a game glitch or is there something my sim left undone? Has this happened to anyone else? I've been able to complete other missions just fine. :help:

same thing happened to me.it still says 'find the relic'.

What happens if you put the relic back and then get it again? It's also possible that the quest listeners have gotten jammed, which means you need to restart the quest. Since you already cleared the tomb, it should be easy to just run back in and get the item again.
