I know it's possible to control what custom skintones/eyes/etc can get given to randomly generated Townies (via "Towniefying" them) & I also know that it's possible to "lock" and "unlock" clothing/hair/etc to control what you can see in normal CAS vs debug CAS...
..but is there anyway a similar effect can be achieved for custom careers?
To clarify: Is there anyway to code a career so that it can only be assigned through a "back door" method (say debug mode, etc) & not show up in the normal newspaper/computer selections? Or maybe a way to re-code the newspapers/computers to only look for certain jobs (that could be user-tweaked in SimPE) to achieve the same effect?
I have several careers that I would dearly love to make for my game, but as many of them are more like "titles" (along the lines of the Freelancer & similar "careers" currently posted on MTS) I don't really want them clogging up the newspapers/computers for Sims hoping to get a "real" job, so am hoping that a way to deliberately "hide" a custom career is possible.
Any hope?
