Tim Curry... (Help appreciated whether you know him or not)

Okay, So as a hardcore fan of Rocky Horror (I'm talking dancing around the house dressed as an alien transvestite) I began making my sim of Tim (In his early days); and need critique and feedback.

He had Shady's eyes and a nosemask at the moment. I think I need to modify the nosemask so his cupid's bow is more defined.

Interesting face....The first thing I notice is that I think his eyes are are more bulging/gooogly.....small irises that don't meet the bottom lid (shady has some of those too) might help that effect...almost like the alien eyes I did a google on him too for more pics....I'm thinkin the eyebrows need to be angled upwards from nose. The jaw seems a little fuller between the mouth and the chin. http://simplelife.chagasi.com/index.html has a good make up kit you might be able to use. Really goooood start. Hope this helps. The second is looking much more like him! Can you use some different eyebrows or change the shape slightly perhaps- Tim's eyebrows seem to have more of a curve rather than a side apex, as your sim has.

I think his lips could be pointier in the middle and his face could taper a bit more. You might want to make his chin longer.

That's just my opinion - someone who's better at making sims might be able to give you better advice!

Oh thanks (: I was using that album cover for a bit but the one I'd found was a very small thumbnail. I'll get onto the eyebrow thing.

I'm usually quite a perfectionist so feel free to point out any tiny detail that is off, everyone. :D

Taper as in get thinner towards the bottom. I don't think Tim's face is as thick all the way down. I think it's the 'Jaw Square-Angled' slider you want to bring in.

Oh, he's looking great!! He's already quite recognizable, I think. And don't worry about dreaming about it - it happens to me as well when working on something intensively (it probably is a bit sad though :P)

Looking at his profile shot, it seems his nose bridge went a bit weird. Also, it would be great if you could take some in-game pictures and then post them side-by-side with Tim's photos - it's the easiest way to tell what needs fixing :)

Ugh I'd been putting it off. But I did it.; My game takes no less than thirty minutes to load, ten to get into CAS... Don't get me started on loading families. But I knew it was inevitable. Haha I was wondering how long I could get away with using only BodyShop. (Oh and I got the Body Shop hack so that it has much better lighting.)

Okay so moving on from my rant.

He looks much different in-game from bodyshop. That or I accidentally clicked on one of my old clones of him; Which kinda sucks if I did.

From what I can tell, I need to make the bridge of the nose thinner (After thickening it this morning X_X ), possibly change the nose mask, and pull the lips back a bit more. Any other suggestions?

(And I have come to the realization I like making sims more than the game. I get little enjoyment out of actually playing it any more. I just love sitting in bodyshop tweaking faces and creating people.)

UPDATE:
Made said changes (About the bridge of the nose and lips. I'll have to check in-game later to see which nose mask looks best.)

I'm sorry there aren't more photos in this post but I am pretty anxious to get off the internet. I've come down with the flu. :( But do you guys think he's ready for uploading? I find myself adjusting little things then putting them back again. (I must find some different eyes. Haha I know he has different ones every time I upload photos of my progress but Tim's seem to change colour in every photo I see XD

Hopeyou are feeling better sim_addict. It might help if you take a only a few photos of Tim that are similar at different angles and just stick with those. It's hard to say from the bodyshop picture alone what the improvements are...sorry. He's really looking a lot better from your first post though. :)

It has been a long time! But given that I have school to deal with, I've worked on him a bit over the past six months. I've found you some better comparison photos too.. I think he looks a bit weird in the 3/4 view, so I may have to undo a few steps or go back to an earlier model :|
