Hey.
I don't know why it happened, but I found that this file 'Groups.cache' (located in 'C:\Users\Beq\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2') was corrupt and making my game unable to start.
I was just wondering if this file is important and if I should just delete it or something.

Your help is much appreciated.

You can safely delete Groups.cache. It can become corrupt (or even too large) and prevent your game from loading. The game will simply regenerate the file the next time you play.

I've started deleting my caches after every game. I don't know if it's in fact helping my game glitch less, but it makes me feel active and virtuous, anyway.
