View Full Version : Arcitecture Career Issues (I know how to find jobs.)

So my Sim is a vampire and she has the interior design career. I know how to find jobs and I have done a few. But for almost every job there isn't a Sim at their home. And if I do go and renovate they never seem to come back. If they do, I can't complete the job.

More specifically, I am currently waiting at someone's house for them - I have been waiting for over 12 hours after calling them. He told me to wait. But she almost starved to death so I had to cancel the action of 'Tell Sim Renovation is Complete' or whatever and now she is still waiting. What can I do about these issues? Thank you.

(I have searched the forum for this topic and didn't see anything. I apologize if I have over-looked something.)

Try to use resetSim code. Just press Ctrl + Shift + C to display the line where you write the code. So if you have a sims named Jim Carrey just wrote in the box resetSim Jim Carrey and press Enter. That sim should be at home after that.

Do you have the architectural career in Bridgeport? If no, it shouldn't happen. If yes, you may have to install this (http://modthesims.info/d/425764) :)

Look for game guides or walkthroughs. The in-game documentation is sparse, and sometimes there's a trick to it that isn't obvious. Like, the architect shouldn't do the bare minimum. Give them lots of things they didn't ask for. ("Oh, wow. It's great that you spent so much of my money on over-the-top decorations instead of just giving me what I told you to put in.")
