View Full Version : Testing Object Recolour

Is this where I can have an object tested by another simmer. I did the recolour but not sure it came through as i had to do it twice and couldn't delete the first object from the game...at least I don't know how.

Any help or direction would be very welcome.

Hi there. I'm new here so I can't really help you with query one unfortunately.

To delete a recolour, place the object you want to delete the recolour for on a lot. Then use the Design Tool, click on the item, and delete the recolours in the selection menu for recolouring the existing object. Be careful though, because it doesn't work for all objects. Please refer to my screenshots below, which hopefully make it clearer:

As you can see the unwanted recolour was deleted.

There is the Design tool in the menu/tools bar, just in case you need it.
If the content is custom, do not press the trash can in the catalogue as this will delete the content from your computer: http://i1204.photobucket.com/albums/bb402/Marquise_de_Merteuil/bin.png
I realise that might be stupid, but I've done that myself and unwittingly deleted items instead of recolours I don't like! I hope this made sense, and proves helpful :)

That's the ticket....plus I put the one I did save in the downloads folder and coul delete it tested it from from there. :)
