Can I remove defaulted decor. in XXX neighborhood?

Hi, I just got the seasons ep, and I am wondering if I can remove some of those trees and plants that are in the Riverblossom Hill neighborhood. I want to delete them so I have more space to make 5x6 houses. When I click on them, a copy of the xxx (trees,plants etc) appears- so I click 'delete' but it only deletes the copy of the xxx. So...the plants,trees,etc in the neighborhood is here to stay for good?

Also, will young adults, who just graduated from College automatically turn into an adult -or I can just immediately use "aging off" so they will stay young forever?

Choose the Decoration - F3 menu in the neighborhood view. Click on the Hand Tool - H. Grab the item that you wish to delete. Press the Del key on your keyboard.

Don't know the answer to keeping young adults, but I doubt that it's as easy as turning aging off. You'll probably need one of the "young adults in a normal neighborhood" hacks, such as this one:

When I grab the trees, it will only make a duplicate of themselve and when I click delete, it only deletes the duplicate.

If that doesn't work for you, then you have something which is interfering with normal game play. Follow the Game_Help:Game_Problem FAQ to narrow down the problem.

I have the same issue in my game at all times. I use the hand tool to pick it up, click delete - and 'imposters', which can't be picked up or effected in any way, of the deleted trees stay on the screen.

HOWEVER, if I leave the neighborhood view (go into a sim's house, or into another neighborhood, or even into Build Mode on an empty lot), then return to the neighborhood screen - Then the deleted deco will be well and truly gone. The 'imposters' have been removed.

So I'd suggest deleting massive amounts of trees in one area - enough so that you cannot possibly be mistaken when you come back - leave the neighborhood screen and then return and see if the 'imposters' have gone.

Do you have NVidia graphics? I've had an NVidia integrated chip set on both computers where this neighborhood decor issue occur. And I ran the game with Seasons as my highest expansion pack for quite a long time.
