Love in the servants quarters issue

I have been trying to do this quest and it keeps leading me to the wrong place. The first time i did this quest it cut off half way through and I was "going home" so when I went back to finish it the key was gone and I couldn't finish the task. I cancelled the quest and left egypt and then went back. The quest showed up again but the key isn't showing up and I can't get into the temple to finish the quest. Help.

I'm no expert, but I think you can buy the keys with the debug cheat.

The debug cheat has only one key. You have to put it in the world, then ctrl-shift-click on it and select what kind of key you want it to be.

The question is which one of the keys you are missing. Because this quest has the weird feature of providing you with one key first (the one you find in the basement of the Ameen household) and after handing it in you'll get another one for the actual keylock. The first one is completely dysfunctional and looks completely different from the key you normaly have. In your inventory it looks more three-dimensional with perspectival shortenings and doesn't stack with the other keys you might have. If you lost that you lost a quest item and I guess without that you won't get the actual key unless you take the advice of the previous poster and create it in buydebug.
