It wont let me move into his house!

Howdy!

I have a boyfriend, and I want to move in to his house, but everytime I put my sims and him onto the house-move thingy (you know, when you want to move, and it has your sims saying who you want to move and all), and I press accept household, it says "You can't evict all of these sims" or something like that. What do I do? The game thinks I want to stay at my house! :(

You can't move into his house. Not possible unless you go into edit-town, or have him move in to your house and then move back to his house.

erm, has the boyfriend asked you to move in? I may be wrong but I don't think you can just move in to his house, with the phone and the move option, without him asking you. And when he does ask you, the 'move house' thingy pops up automatically.

I didn't even know it was possible for a non-active Sim to ask the active Sim to move in?

What you'll probably have to do is switch households and make HIM the active Sim, have him call over your Sim and invite her to move in, then once "she" accepts, your Sim will become active again.

Or do what Spooky suggested and go into edit-town mode, select your Sim's house and use the "merge" option to move you out of your house into your boyfriend's.

I didnt either until Judy Bunch asked my sim to move in with her and her tribe .. I mean as if anyone sane would say yes?
