Hello MTS users!

I've got a small issue with a program in my laptop. I tried to find a solution using google, but I didn't find something useful, so I hope that somebody here can help me...

Well, as some of you already know I am not the computer-whiz guy, so, one more time I ran into mistakes which lead to errors.

Because I'm using GoogleSketchup everyday, and I use it on both my PC and a laptop I have, last month, I decided to install it in an external memory stick (1GB I don't think that it matters), and I had all saved files in there to load them from any PC.
Unfortunately I had to format this stick and all these files were gone!
Now I want to reinstall it in my laptop this time, but, probably because I used the laptop to install it in memory stick, I can find Sketchup in “Add Remove Programs list”. As I install it somewhere else I don’t have a “Google Sketchup” folder in my Program files.

PROBLEM
When I’m trying to uninstall it an ERROR occurs. Also when I press the “fix” button, it asks me to brose an .msi file to reinstall the program automatically.

When I’m trying to install it from the .exe file there is a loading screen and then a popup error message. Then it asks me to finish it without completing the installation!

Please let me know if anyone had the same problem, or if anyone knows how to fix it! :help:

It sounds like SketchUp isn't portable, so it probably won't run from the memory stick in any case. Do you have the memory stick plugged in when you're uninstalling? Does it have the same drive letter as it did when you installed?

Thanks Whiterider SketchUp was uninstalled properly!
Yes it has the same drive letter! Actually I tested that yesterday (the only difference was that this time memory stick was pluged in an another USB port) and it didn't worked :wtf:!

Anyway, now it is solved and thank you for helping!
