Since i installed the generations game, one of my toddlers has been really........clingy? to it's mummy. The toddler in question is Morgana and Thornton Wolff's daughter in case that helps.

Whenever Morgana leaves her in a room she cries and tries to follow her. When there's stairs in the way she sits at the top and screams until her mummy comes back.

This isn't annoying me so to speak but i just wondered if anyone else had this happen to them or if it's just me? :duck:

Realism, yay!

Could it be trait-related?

Am I the only one that read "mummy" and thought of a toddler being dragged across the house holding onto the wrappings of a mummy-sim?

I wondered that too. Is she shy and friends with mommy? Shy Sims are clingy to their friends.

She's not meant to be shy.....i don't think so, it's not in any of her traits but literally, anyone would think she was her parent's second shadow!

Strange thing, but I noticed too that sometimes my toddlers start to cry for nothing. Hmm...

I just got through having two toddlers at once and they did cry from time to time when completely in the green.

My toddler completely ignores my Sim mother and father. All he wants to do is play with his imaginary friend doll and crawl into the toy boxes. He does, however, cry if he is placed in his crib and wants to be let out.

How realistic! One of my daughter's ignored me for the most part as a toddler and just explored everything and played happily. The other one had to be near me or she would get upset. Funny how this post is mimicking real life!
