Can it? And also i might be able to bring it online, if i study the code of the game, if i look up the URL in the game files i can use the "wayback machine" to go back to the archived server then copy it with HTTrack. I think i could do it...

Considering it's The Sims Online, i don't think you can. It's not The Sims Offline.

However, feel free to prove me wrong, I've never played it & i have no idea what i'm talking about. :3

well cause it came on CD-ROM, so that means the game is technically in the CD.

Considering the fact its called "Sims Online" I assume its online and can only be played that way. But since its on CD-Rom, I'm not sure. Disconnect from the internet and see =)

I think i could do it...Servers don't work that way. I'm afraid your copy of TSO is about as useful as an AOL disc.

just becuase an online game comes on a CD doesn't mean you can play it offline.... WoW comes on CD you know...
