Hello again fellow simmers!

I remember the days when I had first gotten the Apartment Life EP and I looked through the special lots and found none of the apartments there interesting. And so I tried to search for more industrial style apartments. I was fruitless. But I didn't give up. I started practicing building and here's my contribution to you. In the progress of creating Terminal City, it has come to my attention from four anonymous people that I should upload the tenement that I am working on for you to test and play around with. I agree it would be a nice idea for a first upload here.
Let me tell you a little about this tenement though.
________________FEATURES___________________________

- 12 suites total.
- 3 floors (Not including foundation)
- Small playground in court
- Low Class industrial style.
- Painted bricks
--------------------------------
Why is it so great Doc?

Well, It would be pretty good for those working class Sims just starting out their lives and living as a single or a couple, having a child in such a suite would provide a little challange. but nothing that serious. Also great for people who need a little industriality in their neighborhood.

But I need a little nudge to keep me going. All positive feedback is welcomed.

I'm the kind or person who feels minimum fixtures are a must. Every place I've moved into has had at least a toilet, a shower or bath, and kitchen counters, even if there was no fridge or oven. A few windows would be nice too. Also, your plan shows fire escapes, are you going to try and work some in?
ETA: Meant to add, I like it. :)

I'm not too sure about the fire escapes because the wall is too close to the border that even with moveobjects, I could not put in spiral stairs.

I'm glad you like it. And I hope to finish in a few days or so, I'll keep updating.

If you're going to upload make sure you fully furnish each apartment otherwise it wont be accepted :)

Are you wanting it to be CC free? Because there are some fire escapes out there, but I'm not sure if anything could be done with the EAxis stuff. Maybe the connecting stairs? I see some nice iron ones in my game.

Minimum furnishings, yet still room to walk.

I like your idea. I like making tenement style apartments, too. I'm just wondering if 12 units isn't too many???? Is there not a limit to how many units in a bldg you can have and still have the apt bldg work in game? For some reason the number four sticks in my head.

Deatherella: Well you can have many apartments in a building. But you can only move in your own sims in four of them. The rest will be populated by townies.

Thanks to all of you. And keep the feedback coming, I might not be posting for a while since work has me for a trip this weekend. But I'll try to do some more work on it!

Thanks again, and keep it coming!

Well, Now after a trip at work and back to the laptop, I havce some more pictures for you to see, But I want your help if the furnishings on each room either looks too nondescript, or fine the way it is. I know my furnishing pattern is quite repetitive.

you could make the apartments aimed at different numbers of sims...like families(4), couples(2) and loners(1) since they all look the same
cool idea :D
