Visiting Sim about to leave lot holding my kitten...

So any suggestions how to deal with this. The Sim is leaving, can't do anything to her. The kitten is in her hands. Do I delete her? Will the Kitten stay in the air? Do I delete the kitten? IF she walks off the lot with it, will she bring it back if I invite her to comeback over? Will it just appear again? Has this happened to anyone?

I tried having a playable sim interact with the kitten but the woman leaving will be off the lot before he can get to it.

Exit without saving, if you wouldn't lose too much playtime.

But deleting should work. Even if the kitten disappears, since she's part of the family, she should appear by the mailbox when you save, exit, and reenter the lot after deleting.

Actually, before deleting, try Force Error/Reset on the sim leaving.

If all fails, and the sim manages to leave with the kitten, you'll still probably be able to teleport her back with Inge's cat or the Sim Blender.

You could also try taking the kitten out of her hands with moveobjects and placing it on the ground or in someone elses hands.

or you can retreve the kitten by picking the cat up with :move_objects on" cheat and place her somewhere else and delet the guest, That happened to my puppy haha

Ok thanks all for your suggestions; I deleted them both and saved, because I don't trust the force/error cheat, I've never used it before so I didn't know if it would do something unfavorable to my game. Got the kitten back safe, thanks!

YAY, glad it worked!

Just FYI, Force Error is perfectly safe AS LONG AS you always select RESET when the error message pops up. Really useful for burned food stuck on stoves, sims with "chess elbow", sims stuck in hot tubs (a problem I get a lot - not sure why), etc.

and the times where the red cups from the fruit punch despensicer gets stuck on the ground, even when you delet the despenicer.

My strategy for nannies is turn the fridge to the wall and lock the toddler's bedroom door (unless the kid is obviously hungry).

This happened once. I was panicking and everything. The visitor left and dropped the kitten on the edge of the lot. It was kind of annoying since I had to send a sim to bring the kitten into house, but perfectly fine otherwise.
