I have no idea if I am in the right category or not... All I want to do is enable testing cheats just so I can disable the clothing filter. I can't stand my monarchs (or anyone else for that matter) not being able to wear what I bloody well feel like. :( I have read the instructions on editing the file but one problem... the Sims Medieval file isn't even existent?! I've looked in the (86x) folder just like the instructions said (for Win7), but the only folders under Electronic Arts are The Sims 3 & World Adventures. I downloaded Ambitions, Late Nite, & Medieval through Origin & none of them are there, so I am assuming it has to do with that. Is there any way around it or am I just s.o.l.? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Have you tried looking in the Origin Games folder (in Program Files x86)? I haven't downloaded anything since they changed the EA downloader to Origin, so mine are in the usual place. But it would not surprise me it has moved. And that folder seems like the only folder that would store data if its not in the usual place.

why the hell would you use origin? mother of mercy...

idk best i can suggest is borrowing / obtaining the game from someone else and using your license.

I would highly reccommend TreAg's TestingCheatsEnabled mod. It installs like any other mod package, and can be added or removed easily. I personally use this method instead of modifying the commands.ini. The download is located in the Mods thread at post 160, but to make it easier, this is the link, TreeAg's TestingCheats Enabled (http://www.mediafire.com/?71xdjnbcirf7j7i#2).

If you truely want to make the edit yourself, do a search for Sky_PartlyCloudy1.ini. The commands.ini is located in the same folder, and Sky_PartlyCloudy1.ini should be unique enough that you wont get too many to choose from.

:gjob: Thank you! Guess I had total brain fart moment & didn't even think about Origin having it's own folder :faceslap: Thanks for the link too. Personally I didn't want to edit anything myself & possibly mess something up, but I get totally lost in the Mods thread (short attention span I guess) & that's all I could find with web searches.
