My flat screen monitor ruined my Sims game. The colors are so bad. I thought the monitor would make it look better. I'm starting to wish I had my old one back. I've tried ever option the monitor and the game graphic options possible and I still can't get it right. Driving me nuts? Yes..yes it is. :faceslap:

What was your previous monitor? Did it work with TS3?
Does the new monitor cause problems in other games?
Have you uninstalled any drivers you may have had for your old monitor, and installed the drivers for your new monitor?
What are your Game Help:System Specs?
Did you change anything else when you upgraded the monitor?

I don't have TS3. I think it just might be the way these flat screens are (brighter than an analog monitor). TS2 is running fine, it just looks bad. Nothing else was upgraded. Now that I think about it, it could be just me and the way I'm used to seeing things in the game and not used to one of these flat screens.

What was the resolution you played in on the old monitor?
And what is the resolution on the new monitor? Is this resolution native to the Monitor's settings? And is the game on the same resolution in Options?

Replace "TS3" in my original post with "TS2" then - I didn't know which game you were talking about, so I guessed. :)

Have you tried changing the brightness settings using the buttons on the front of the monitor?
