I really want to make a contest as there are none going on and the last one was the make a model compitition. I have PMed the Mods/admins but I'm not sure if they got the message/to busy. I know I haven't done any contsets before but I think it looks like great fun.

I have the idea of using the agree or love buttons to show a vote, if people are interested enough.

I can't become a host because there are no contests on. I want to hold a contest because there are no contests on. :( .

You'll need to wait until there is a contest available to participate in. Hosting a contest is HARD and if you haven't even participated in one before, you will likely not be prepared for how contests go here, and how much work it really is to wrangle one.

Yes. Really - I've run several contests and it's sort of like what they say about childbirth - you forget how horrible it is till you go to have another one. I enjoy running contests, but it's a huge amount of work, not just in thinking up the themes and writing the rules and whatnot, but also in keeping track of everyone's scores, making sure you put everything up on time, and managing butthurt and people asking for numerous extensions and having to be the "bad guy" and tell them no.

This reminds me to bother Delphy about doing the new contest system (AGAIN, srsly man STEP AWAY FROM THE TANKS AND PROGRAM SOME SHIT KTHX) so that I can start hosting some again without pulling out all of my hair. These wigs are getting expensive.

There is a contest system ? Wow I never knew that existed (literally i actually didnt , maybe because I dont participate in any Contests)
