Ability to make pet food?

I never noticed this before, but my sim (who wants to be a cook) suddenly got the ability to make premium pet (dog/horse/some other)food. I don't have Pets...it's this some 'foreshadowing' they threw into Generations? What does being able to make premium pet food have to do with Generations or is this a glitch?

It's from the latest patch. It's still pointless if you don't have Pets.

yep, i noticed it after the patch, and only after. before i never had that option, and i have alot of sims who like cooking.

The 'feature' came with the 1.26. patch. Unless you have the Pets EP installed, this 'feature' is pointless.

I have pets installed and made some Beef pet food but I cant seem to do anything with it. Anyone know if there is a glitch?

You're supposed to be able to refill your pet's food bowl with the homemade food from inventory. The food bowl has to be empty.

ohh okay, makes sense, i got the food bowl that fills up by its-self so no wonder i didn't figure it out haha. thanks
