I JUST started playing TS3 Pets today and so far all i did was go into create a houshold. I was first looking at some new clothes for sims, then decided to see the pets! i clicked on cat, dog, and horse and they all look weird! the horse's mouth is stretched to the floor and the cats and dogs have like separated bodies and all my pets have like huge bulging eyes..idk. I'm posting a picture of a horse i took. I haven't tried them in game play but they still look weird in CAS..well CAH. I have pretty darn good graphics, maybe not the BESTTT but almost. Everything else looks fine but the pets. I think its some kind of glitch EA needs to update.

You'll be asked to post your system spec's; in case you don't know how to, HERE (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:System%20Specs) are the instructions.
This is also the wrong thread to post this, but I'm sure a mod will move it for you. The appropriate thread for this issue is HERE (http://www.modthesims.info/forumdisplay.php?f=551).
Good luck. ;)

Giga, you beat me to the chase :)
Moogloo, she's referring you to my board not because we have the same card, but we most likely have the same problem. Pets has added a lot of strain on computers, and while my computer is quite nice, it's not really a gaming computer so the graphics card isn't strong enough for the game. Thus, the scary animals. For specifics about your own graphic card, you need to make your own board on the help section of the website, this isn't the place for it.
And, if you have the same problem (which I'm sure you do, as we have VERY similar scary pets), they will look the same outside CAS, if you refer to my pictures I have one reference of that.

The G33/G31 is integrated and unsupported for TS3. The fact that it's worked up until now without issue is surprising, as it's a very weak integrated chipset, but many people are experiencing sudden issues with Pets if they were using weak/underpowered/unsupported graphics. Unfortunately the only fix for this is to buy a new graphics card (and perhaps even a new power supply if your existing computer doesn't have a very strong one). If you're on a laptop, then you don't really have any options besides not playing anymore, or getting a new laptop. There's info on both (purchasing a new graphics card, or purchasing a new laptop) under Help in the Computer & Software Help forum. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
