any way i can have moar heroes of the same type? (moar spies, moar knights etc)

i tried changing their profession to from knight to spy for example with testing cheats but they would still be assigned to their original lot (barracks) although the game / quest does recognize them as spy...

Unfortunately, what your takling about is changing the hero's household. There's no cheat or debug that I know of to change it. I had to do change the households for my Adopt Child action in my core, so I'm sure it can be done. It does require scripting. I'll add it to my list of things I plan to do with my core, or if someone with more time wants to give it a shot, I can lead you to the things you need.

Unless I misunderstand the question...I actually use Grim's Core to create additional heroes of the same type. I have a House of Lords (a castle of 9 monarchs) all vying for the right to rule. I start with a hero, retire him, go to kingdom mode, create a new hero in CAS, then go back to the retired person and assign their profession and level back as it was. Simple. Rinse and repeat. Whoever is assigned last is the main owner of the building. This can be done with any profession.

hmm i'll try that

by the way anybody know how i can change the body shape of NPC's? whenever i use Edit In CAS (tried with treeag's and Dynamic Professions) their body shape reverts back to original after a few seconds

EDIT: works but my hero's level resets. better than nothing but i still hope someone will make a mod for this :( thanks.

How did you get the body shape to work when you changed it? What mod? Also why did it reset the levels?

Also using a mod that changes profession, can you have say two spies? for example if I change villager to spy, do I get two? and do I have a new hero?

Ahh sorry didn't see that, this method gives you more hero's? If so when you pick a quest, and it says pick a hero, does it show the new hero as a selection? or only latest?

Yes all heroes are available on the quest selection.

when i said it worked i was referring to the hero thing, not the body shape. whenever i change the body shape on a npc it's only temporary... fatty sims everywhere, too many to just kill.

there's a no fatty mod out there, I think it's Shimrod's. it doesn't prevent your hero sims kids from growing up fat, but there's a joyful lack of fat townies.

The shape of a sim has more to do with their actual stats than a CAS edit can fix. Each sim has a scale thin/fat and an unfit/fit value between -100 and 100. Although the shape is changed in CAS these values are not. That's why a soon as the game recalculates a sims shape they revert to their original. It requires actually setting these values, which at the moment cannot be done with existing mods.

I have the no fatty mod, I think it just keeps your sim from getting fat, not making them not already being fat.. but maybe I have something different. You rock Darth BTW :)

well your welcome! some sims do remain skinny after you fix them in CAS, some don't. most of mine do, but i had one who just wouldn't stay slim, so i killed her and put her little sister on the throne.

all my heroes stay slim if i change em during the game, the npc's don't.

sims I create will stay slim if I make them so, but their offspring tend to, more often than not, revert to fatness.
