So as creepy as that ice cream truck can be, I still get my sims to buy from it, cause honestly, they're creepy in real life too, but we still buy ice cream from them.

Though I have a question. Everytime my sims have it, a popup says that they lose weight from eating it. I just read on a website that it doesn't do that.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Do they? My sims never lose weight eating ice cream. Maybe because they're already skinny. But they don't gain weight from it either. I don't know why the hate for ice cream trucks. I think they're cute, they're good source of quick food, and they give positive moodlet too. My only complain is that on certain lots/houses my sim would take off to a different lot far away just to eat their ice cream. They go by taxi too, even if they have their own car. Only happened on certain lots only though.

This has been happening to my sims as well. I've only done it three or four times, but they always get a notification saying that they are now skinny.

I only had my sim get ice-cream once, but when she did, she had a bug. It made her look like her arm were forced behind her with her hands inside the ice-cream truck. I thought it was funny.

I love the random addition of Ice Cream Trucks..Although they should offer more choices, I think they're awesome. I've not had neither of the issues above (the getting skinnier or going to different lots) but then again, my lot is so huge (legacy) and has pretty much everything there so I rarely leave it. Similar to that of a Mormon complex (jkjkjk)

I wish it was more like a static cart, that my sims could visit on community lots (and that we could turn into an icecream parlour if we wanted). They need more reasons to leave their home lots and more things to do on the community lots. Also, it tends to park outside my sim's house for hours in the middle of the night. I find it a bit creepy.

ACK! It does the same thing with my house. My RL ice cream truck NEVER did that.

Same here. I wish the windows were clear, complete with a creepy ice cream dude inside with a smirky evil grin that eyeballs the sims as they come and go, for the full effect.

The little jingle that the truck does bugs me, even though it's supposed to be all cheery and all it sounds more like it should belong in a horror movie as those oddly creepy little sounds... yknow? Hahahaha... I can just picture Chuckie the doll or Jigsaw riding in the front saying 'will you scream for ice cream?'
