Now served at the Little Corsican Bistro... Fish Pet Food?

So my sim went out on a date ti the bistro. She and her friend ate outside; imagine my surprise when she walked out of the restaurant carrying a big bowl of fish food... and apparently it was pretty good because she gained the Great Meal moodlet afterward.

Weird.

Funniest thing is, I don't even have Pets installed (I've patched up to 1.26 and that's it). Actually, that might even be the reason for the mix up.

Are you sure it was fish food? It might of been 'horrifying quality' cereal.

It was definitely Fish Pet food, was the name of the dish when I moused over it. She didn't eat it with a spoon, like cereal, but picked the food up out of the bowl and ate it like a sandwich.

My Sim got the opportunity to make a dish for the steak house (in the new world) and while I had her make Goopy Carbonara for it they instead took a bowl of fish pet food and she won Simoleans for it. So disgusting!

Maybe they thought it was tuna?

This made me think of the "cereal bowls" for toddlers in the Sims 2 that were actually pet food bowls.

I bet gourmet pet food tastes better than Stu Surprise (personally, I refuse to eat any meal with the word 'surprise" in it).

If it happens again I'll have to catch a screen shot. The couple on the date are now happily married, so may have to wait until their daughter gets old enough to date to try again.

What's funny is, the pet food... all of it... also works... as bait for fishing :/

I think somebody didn't quite think through how that stuff was gonna be integrated into the game ;)

I kinda like it though, since it gives my cook sims with pets something else to practice cooking on, after they've overstuffed their families ;)

Yep my Sim must love it, she has been served pet food 3x's now and eats it up! I don't have pets just the update!
