Big Water Wheel and Windmill Blades - Animated!
Greetings, good gentles/ladies. We are The Merrye Makers - a group of ten creators spanning all disciplines (clothing, lots, objects, etc.) offering for thy downloading pleasure a collection of medieval things most beauteous from Ye Olde Kingdom of Pudding -- otherwise known as "Simdom Pudding".
Medieval Big Water Wheel and Windmill Blades made by Hekate999 for The Merrye Makers. The Merrye Makers would all like to extend a special thanks to Hekate. She went above and beyond creating things that most of us never thought were possible!

The Quick Tick Wall Clock was used to make the Medieval Big Water Wheel and Windmill Blades animated so they actually turn. Sims can walk through the water wheel. It must be made inaccessible with ponds, fencing, etc. If the windmill blades hang down in front of a door, sims can walk through them. It is best to place windmill blades on the second floor, or higher, away from doorways. Big Water Wheel and Windmill Blades must be placed against a wall. Ok, this post needs a little extra doing to it:
Please use the table code in the post (edit by lee) and we need the pictures to be a lot bigger. Ideally - two BIG lot pictures - one with the water wheel, one with the blades, and two good sized UV mapping shots. I would also like to see the wheel in a couple of wood variants.
We also need a little more detail on the object - what is the footprint ? That is, how much space is needed to place it? If it is one tile and so sims can walk through it then we need to state that in the post. The walking through bit is really most relevant for the wheel, and we can make suggestions in the post (like put a fence round it) to stop any clipping. IF we need a fence then another shot showing it with a suitable game fence is required.

I think I made all the changes. My sim can't walk through the water wheel because of the pond. Do you still need a shot with a fence? Also, we have a problem. HeKate made these with the Quick Tick Wall Clock, I think. (It's the only contemporary wall clock I can find.) The animation is not working in my game. Pets issue? Is that something you can fix? Thanks! SimmyRN

Those pictures look great Simmy. I think we no longer need the small original collaged picture. Maybe the shot of the water wheel (screenshot 315) can be the thumbnail. I will DL and see if I can fix it.
EDIT > fixed and new files uploaded.

OK, this one is also cursed by MYP exploding - however, we are allowed 12 screenshots so add the extra pics to the final upload post. Simmy - can you upload this via the upload wizard?
Quick tip - if you open your post to edit it and copy paste to the upload wizard the only thing you will need to change is image links in the main body of the post. In the upload wizard if it asks for the poly count just type "see table".

Sorry, I've never uploaded anything before so do you mean to post the inline pictures at photobucket and re-insert them into the post? (The three inline pics are already included in the screenshots.) Then, go through the upload wizard? I'm game to give it a try. SimmyRN

Oh ok - I did not realise- you don't need to have them on photobucket if they are in the post. Have a go at the upload wizard - its really not that hard. Do you want to try and log into the live chat? That way if you need help i can assist you.

If you see it, on the IRC applet java popup when you get a "do you want to block" say NO.

I'll try it later. I don't want to download the chat client on someone else's computer. Thanks for the offer! SimmyRN

Yay! Modyourpanites must be working again. I'll try the upload wizard. The inline images will transfer correctly now, won't they? SimmyRN

Simmy - if necessary I will fix the images once they make it to queue :) Just transfer the files and images and the text. There is no need to link to myp as they are IN the upload.
I will go to chat

Well, crud! It says that inline pictures can't be any larger than 800x600 and modyourpanties won't let me sign in to post the resized pictures from GIMP. I guess I can save it and come back to it. SimmyRN

Hmm, apparently can't save it. At least, clicking the "Save" button doesn't seem to do anything. My Windows 7 won't install the chat client. If you can fix the images, everything else should be all right. I'll proceed. Thanks! SimmyRN

Well, I have no idea - but there were no files or images attached. So I ran through the process again. Am now gonna check the queue. I hope nothing is broken on the moderation process.

Ok, it was a caching thing. Otherwise all is good. So we wait for approval.
So no excuses now simmy - you need to upload some creations under your own name :)

I just might. I've always been intimidated by the uploading process here, but it's not that bad once you know the expectations. Fingers crossed. Thanks again for stepping me through. SimmyRN
