Well, for those that know about TSR, their ethics and underhanded business dealings, oh and let us not forget certain behaviours that could be construded as, dare I say, illegal. You will know why it is important to inform and to teach newcomers to the perils
of signing up to certain paysites.
Now, me being a proud member of this wonderful, FREE, informative site that is MTS2, home of tutorials and learning. I feel it is my duty to provide a little tutorial to those newcomers that wish to learn and understand the wonderful, and not so wonderful simming world around them.
You can find the tutorial here tsr.mustbedestroyed (http://tsr.mustbedestroyed.org/)
Go, Fill your mind, Learn and most important, Teach Others.
For me, I am curious, we know about the attacks on other sites, we also know it has happened here however, only with an account where the password was known by TSR, but then how many of you use the same password for multiple sims sites?
Anyway, my question is really how geared up for an attack are we here at MTS.
We know that the pay sites are dwindelling with the main ones now being Rosesims and Peggysims, and certain creators of pay sites have suddenly turned up on TSR's books, coincidence? Maybe.
The free sites are losing files either they suddenly break the TOU, or are deleted completely.
If you do not know what I am talking about, go to tsrtsr.mustbedestroyed (http://tsr.mustbedestroyed.org/)
Heck go there even if you do know what I am talking about :)
So can I ask how high is the wall around the MTS castle? And what can we do to protect ourselves, and even help other people and other free sites.
TSR may not last the long haul (here is hoping) but if TSR goes down, my fear is that a lot of small, good free sites will go down with it, it would not be the first time, take Reflexsims for example.
So what are all your thoughts?
of signing up to certain paysites.
