Hi there,
So right now I'm playing as my bard in the quest where he has to write a play, either through hard work or plagiarism. I chose hard work, and now it says he has to declare someone an enemy and become hungry. Now, I declared a random Sim his enemy but for some reason the game says I still have to do the task. Did I do something wrong? Also, how hungry does my bard have to be before that task is checked off? I don't want to murder him by accident! Thanks,

i guess you just keep declaring enemies and dragging the hunger bar til you see yellow.

I haven't done the quest, but my guess is you actually have to lower the "enemies" relationship score to be an enemy. Try being mean to your enemy

When I did that quest I think the declare someone your enemy was in regards to the person you had to "fall in love with". So whoever you made love you, try declaring them your enemy (do mean/fight actions until it becomes available if it isn't available at the start). As for the hunger, it gets pretty low before the quest objective clears... like the bar will have to remain red and you'll have the "very hungry" negative moodlet for a good 4-6 sim hours before it the quest updates. It'll say, your bard will say "Ok I've experienced hunger long enough!" So you can eat then. As long as you're not on the edge of civilization where it'll take you sim hours to get back and get some food, you'll have enough time to get food and not starve to death. I do recommend being out and away from any source of food while you're starving though, so you don't have to cancel a million "make food" actions.

just turn on testing cheats and skip the objective. not really worth bothering with this nonsense.
what was that quest / objective that had you become ''as hungry as you possibly can be''? yeah i guess ea forgot hungry sims = dead sims.

Nah it takes a really long time to starve to death. You only have to be in "very hungry" for 3-6 hours before it updates. I think you'd have to be in very hungry for at least 12-24 hours before you die of starvation. The only difficult part about the step is keeping the sim away from food for like half a day while in hungry and very hungry which is easily accomplished by going outdoors. Going outside and gathering inspiration or practicing the lute for example.
