help I want cc in my game.

I have read all the postings about the sims 3 patch problems, and my game is updated and working fine....but I would really like some cc in my game that is updated with the latest pet patch 1.29....I really don't understand it, because I don't even have the Sims 3 Pets EP. Well, I have been all through the website looking for creators who has updated this patch....could someone please tell me what I can do, if anything.

CAS parts aren't broken (hair, clothes, makeup, etc.) so you could try those.

The patches that come out with EPs typically update the game with many features of those EPs... including changes to object data formats, which is what caused 1.28 (pets patch) to break a lot of CC. (1.29, to my knowledge, didn't break anything NEW, but if you applied that patch you got the changes from all the previous patches as well.)

The data format for all objects that Sims can interact with was modified by the Pets patch, in order to support pet interactions and animations as well. The "breaking" of CC was a side effect of that update; EA updated their objects, CC makers had to update theirs as well.

So, you can look for updates for the object CC you use from the creators of that CC... a lot of creators updated all their stuff soon after Pets was released. Or you can run the CC you have through Granthes's rigfix: http://sims3.the-prof.net/forums/index.php/topic,1298.0.html

Note that there are additional fixes needed for beds and tubs, so if you have CC in those categories, you'll most likely want to get an update from the creator (though there is a tut at Granthes's site if you want to try to fix your beds yourself).
