Hello. So I'm running TS3, Ambitions, and Generations, with CC. I updated my game, and so I'm all patched up to the latest and greatest (as if). I'm on a Mac Pro (the tower) running a 2.4 quad-core with 8gb RAM and an ATI Raedon H5770.
Anyway, when I go into buy mode, edge scrolling fails, and I can no longer drag/drop any items whatsoever. I can select them in the menus, but I can't use the cursor to place them.
I tried ALL of the following:
1. Clearing cache (still glitches).
2. Deleting all CC to check if it was a mod that was incompatible (didn't change anything).
3. Cleared all user folders and had TS3 reload them (didn't change anything either).
4. Changed pointing devices. I had been using a new tablet as my mouse and so I switched it with the old one (which worked pre-patch) to see if it worked. Nothing.
So. Something tells me it's the patch. Or my tablets. I've been working at this for a few hours now, starting and re-starting, and it still doesn't work. I'll leave it to you all for a bit to see if anyone has this experience, and then I'll be uninstalling and re-installing my game and grabbing a Magic Mouse from the Apple store.
