View Full Version : Bed Issue

I'm having a problem with double beds in my game. If one sim is already sleeping in the bed, and I try to make another sleep on the other side, they glitch and just stand there with the action queued. I have to turn testingcheats on so I can force an error. This is happening with every kind of bed, and I checked the log and it just says it's the bed that's causing the problem, whether it be cc or maxis made. I didn't think it was a cc problem anyway as I haven't downloaded any new objects in a really long time, let alone beds specifically. Anyone got any ideas as to why this would be happening or better yet, how to fix it? It doesn't matter how many times I buy a new bed by the way, it just keeps happening.
Possibly related: When my sims were in college, and I instructed one to go sleep in their bed, they would then go sleep in another bed instantly, as though that was the instruction given.

Please run through the Game Problem guide, as that will determine the source of the problem:

Please let us know the outcome of each stage of the process.

As you can read the log and is able to say what was the cause of the issue, there's a very simple way to check if you have any mods or objects that are conflicting or causing you problem, if you can also some rudiments of modding.
Read the log again or cause an error in game that sends a new log similar to the one you had. See what bhav that is being affected. It is splicit in the first lines of the log.
Open Simpe and the last objects package for the last active EP you have and extract the bhav in question (or many if they are also in the log). Put them in a new package without any modification, save it and place in your downloads folder in a subfolder that you are going to remove later or any test folder you already have.
Launch Hack Conflict Detector from Simwardrobe. If you have anything that is using the same bhav, Hack Conflict Detector will tell you exactly what and where they are located.
I think everyone is able to make this even if not expert in modding. Don't forget to remove the new package after you solve the problem. :)

How do I know which object is the last for the EP?I don't understand what you're asking. Could you rephrase the question?
