So, I'm just learning how to paint terrain. I didn't like the four default paints that we get, so I went and downloaded Martine's texture resource.
Everything was going well -- however, I wanted to test something and jumped into Edit in Game from CAW.
What I noticed was that when you were zoomed in or at a flatter angle, my paints disappeared out of EIG in the active chunk you were in. If you zoom far out or position the camera straight down on top of it, the paints return.

I'm not sure what could be causing this problem. Is it due to the fact that I'm using Martine's textures, and this is considered custom CC? If so, how do I go about getting it into my regular game (and for that matter, would it automatically package on export?).
The fact that it seems to only do this on the active chunks suggests it may be some sort of weird computer video resource issue -- which thoroughly confuses me, of course, because I have a very high-end computer.
Any suggestions?
