I ressurrected Fricorith Tricou, his memories don't quite show up correctly and he can't change his appearance in the mirror.

Okay, I went into SimPE, and deleted all of his memories except for the token that indicates his aspiration. I edited in the memories I decided he should have in my story, and I did such for Gvaudoin as well, though I haven't ressurected her. I unchecked the "Is ghost" check box thingy, and then I went into the game. Every memory he had was a good memory (Even losing Gvaudoin to the Reaper). I figured I would ask someone about it later, as it wasn't a pressing issue, and it didn't really bug me. What REALLY got my goat was that he couldn't change his appearance in the mirror. He could only "Practice Speech" and "Practice Romance". Did I do something wrong?

Have you tried this with more than one mirror?

I have a couple of CC mirrors that don't give me all the options because they were cloned from mirrors before all the functions were added, and never updated. I don't know if "Change Appearance" is a base game function or not, but even if it is, if you have a broken mirror that's easier to deal with than a broken character.

That's not the normal way of resurrecting a sim, but I haven't done it even in the normal way so I can't advise you on that.

I tried it with three base game mirrors, didn't work. I actually don't have any custom mirrors. I'm not sure if "Change appearance" is a base game function or a nightlife function, but I should still be able to do it because I have both (Well, of course I have both, I mean, Fricorith) I tried it on the third mirror with a different sim, and sure enough, the options popped up, so it has to be something with Fricorith.

And the memories are kind of getting on my nerves T_T

As for how I ressurrected him, I have heard a lot of people delete the Dead Token---> Get living sim.

I'm not so sure about fixing your sim. Perhaps if you restored from your backup and resurrected him properly, things would work correctly.

I figured out I can still change his appearance if I use the sim blender, so I guess I'll just have to settle with that.

Getting a memory to have a red or green background is also a good way to corrupt the memory and then your game if you edit the wrong string. Until you figure out what you did wrong with Fricorth I would suggest A.) Making sure your backup is still in a very safe place in case a BFVFS has already begun, and B.) Living with memories the wrong color.
