Yes it is. Granthes's CC Magic provides collections functionality and provides an expanded icon set. He could probably tell you more about how to do it in an ad hoc way :)

Are you asking about using CC Magic to manage collections, ToRnado? It doesn't support collections for legacy sets. (You'll find that documented in the user's guide in my sig.) And you should probably get CC Magic support at Grant's forums: http://sims3.the-prof.net/forums/index.php/board,9.0.html .

The links I gave you in my previous post (post 4) give information about how to make your own icon set, and an example of a custom icon set made by another modder. Note: you can only have one icon set at a time, so custom sets won't include icons from new EPs/SPs... in other words, they should probably be updated with each EP/SP that includes a collection.
