No Electronic Arts Folder in My Documents

Hi

I have just recently reinstalled the Sims 3 again onto my Mac and it is not creating an EA folder in my documents. Instead it saves on my HD as "%UserProfile%/My Documents/Electronic Arts

It did not do this before and saved a the EA folder in My Documents as usual. Therefore when I try to add the Mods folder it doesn't work and I get an error message.

Have tried all of the troubleshooting methods and nothing seems to be working. Any advice?

Where do your saved games, savedsims etc end up? What did the error you got say?

The saved games end up in %UserProfile%/My Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Saves
When I install the folder it comes up with "Unable to start game. Service initialisation failed"
