Okay, so I am making a medieval village, and two of my characters are gay and have lovers, but can't get married to their lovers because of medieval societies. They both want children, and they have to keep up appearances, so I wanted to marry them. I got a wedding arch for this, but I was wondering if there was any way I could make two sims woohoo WITHOUT MAKING THEM FALL IN LOVE, like in insiminator, but since they are both gay, they will not auto-woohoo, so I was wondering if there was any way to get around that. I know I could just make them bisexual, but I was hoping there was a way without doing that.

You could try LizzLove's swinger's bed (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=63697) . That's the only download I know of that can accomplish this.

Maybe try inteenimater so they don't have to actually woohoo, you can just choose for him/her to get pregnant with x's baby. And I don't think it'll have the "had an affair" or the "woohooed with x" memory, unless you want those. Then you should probably just use a hacked bed.

Lizzlove's waterbed, at least the version archived on the Simbology forums, can be set to allow woohoo without compatible sexual orientations and without love being necessary between the sims, but it alters sexual orientation and relationship status the same way regular woohoo does, so if your sims woohoo on it often enough they'll end up bisexual and in love anyway. You might as well just set the "love" flag between them briefly with Insim, use the regular Maxis Try for Baby, then unset it.

Shouldn't this be doable with Boolprop-magic? "Make Sim pregnant with X" or similar?

You can artificially inseminate with the Tombstone of L&D; but if you want to play out the relationship in detail, with all the emotional and personal complications entailed by a bearding marriage, you will need hacks. Bearding has some serious drama potential, with no end to the possible unintended consequences. Therefore, the waterbed solution sounds like the best one, as one would naturally tend, over time, to build up loyalty and affection for someone he woohooed out of duty and who produced his children, and the orientation-drift is probably the most elegant way to deal with that within the limits of the game mechanics.

I have a couple (premades, the Clevelands), where he is gay, but they are in love. I use ACR's functions to keep his gender preference solid. But I don't have a problem with them loving each other, I just figure it's not the head-over-heels romantic love but the best-buds-from-toddlerhood love. They cooperate very well with woohoo commands.

Even with ACR in command, it's fairly easy to keep bisexual sims bisexual: just keep having them interact with both genders.
