8:00 AM Shadow Bug

Looked all over google and didn't find anyone with the same problem as me. At 8:00 AM every sim day the shadows in my world glitch out terribly and won't fix themselves until I restart my game. It's really bugging me as this happens EVERY sim day. I'm still in the middle of troubleshooting just about everything I can think of - I've already tried running without CC, deleting cache files, updating my graphics drivers, etc.

Since this always occurs at a specific time I figured it probably wasn't a specs issue, but here they are anyway.

Hey, I remember that bug! I haven't seen it in years - which patch version are you on?
Keep going with the troubleshooting steps, and let us know - I'd be particularly interested to hear whether or not it's affecting all saves/worlds.

On 1.33.2. If I figure out whats wrong I'll post step-by-step instructions on what I did to get it working.

Comforting to know that other have seen the bug, less comforting to know it's an old one with no real addressed issue....

EDIT: Any idea on what causes this?

OKAY! It must have been a corrupt save problem, as installing Twallan's ErrorTrap (http://nraas.wikispaces.com/ErrorTrap) has fixed my problem. At exactly 8 AM a message popped up telling me that over 40 errors had been trapped, yikes! It must've been something that happened when I was making my world in CAW, because when I tested to see if it worked in another world I used the same one. :faceslap:

Took me a while to find ErrorTrap so I hope others with similar problems find this post helpful.

I'm glad you got a fix for the issue you were having! I just gotta say thanks, as well, because of your link for ErrorTrap. I'm having an issue in my game and can't figure out what's going on, so I'm going to try that mod to see if it will help!
