I deleted Veronaville a while ago for no reason, but now i want it back. My friend has it intact so I was wondering if I could just copy/paste it from my friend's computer (EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods) to mine. Will it work and will there be any damage on my/my friend's?
PLEASE HELP :help:

You can copy/paste it from you own computer. Directions:

If you made a custom neighbourhood since deleting Veronaville, it would have the same name - N003. The game would've seen that there was no N003 and used that number for your new hood. I don't know of any way to have both in the game at once (dunno if renaming the folder would help) but if you backed up your custom hood, you can swap them in and out so you can play them one at a time.
However! Meetme2theriver (http://meetme2theriver.livejournal.com/63030.html) made a bunch of cleaned up hoods. This includes the option to have the regular hoods as shopping districts. So you could keep your custom hhod, and add Veronaville as a subhood in another hood.

Thank you,but I tried that before the last post and my neighbourhood got deleted anyway Good thing it was rather new so there weren't any families, just some houses i saved in the house bin
But, You see, I have a different problem now. I can't play/interact with Montys! My game crashes if I click on that family or if someone invites Patrizio over and I don't know what to do!

Do the entire Game_Help:Game_Problem FAQ.
You should also supply us with your Game_Help:System_Specs.

Thank You very much, but a lot of Game Help is actually figuring out where the problem is and I know what/who the problem is - Patrizio Monty of Veronaville ( It can't be custom content because I never played that family-the game wouldn't let me ), I just don't know where his files are located (savedSims possibly?) and how to fix that. Also, the FAQ steps are quite complicated,is there a way to locate Patrizio's files and fix it? :|

No, there is no specific way to fix a sim, if the sim is corrupted. You may have a corrupted neighborhood. However, without doing the entire game problem FAQ, there's no way for us to know.
You cannot tell for sure whether the problem is CC without removing all of the CC and clearing your caches. This test takes practically no time at all. Backing up your game first is probably the hardest thing.
If you continue to have problems after removing your CC and clearing your caches, then what happens if you remove all of your CC, clear your caches and generate a brand new save game? Again, this test takes practically no time at all. This would also help us to understand whether you have a conflict between your custom neighborhood and Veronaville.
I do not remember Patrizio being corrupted in a newly generated game. If he is corrupted in a newly generated vanilla game, then you may have problems with your installation files. Alternatively, your computer may not be up to playing the game.

Firstly, I wanna say thank you for all the help. But, to be honest, I don't wanna mess with all those files and do all that on my own because I've already messed up with sims before ( that custom neighbourhood somehow got deleted and The sims 3...) and it's probably just my computer.. I've had several problems with installation, had to re-install few times and some of the EP's wouldn't even install (they would go to 15% of installation,an ERROR message would appear and the installation would stop!)...Besides, I think I'm just gonna move the rest of the household out and leave Patrizio there (he'll be the oldest sim ever!)... But,anyway, Thank You!
