How to make an object placable on surfaces!?

Hi,

I need to know how I can change the settings of an object (which is a table), to be able to place it on any surfaces,omsp... (as if it was a decorative object)

Please, can you help me out by listing the things i need to do to ensure to get trough it for once and for all?

Like this:

Is the table a multi-tile object? I haven't really looked into it, but I've heard that multi-tile objects and OMSP or SLOTS don't get along too well.
