Sims 2 Custom Rugs Too Dark - Issue

I have many custom rugs and recolors of Maxis rugs in my game. Recently I have noticed that most of the recolors are too dark and I can't use them because they are just too dark, when they are outside they are fine, I just can't use them in the house. I would really appreciate some light on this issue. Thanks! :help:
