How to place fish into a community pond?

Currently I'm building another park for Sunset Valley, the park has a huge pond in the middle and I would like sims to practice fishing here, but how do I get fish into the pond? I know you can stock a pond with fish if you have ten of them but I'm not sure if that would really work with such a big pond.

Can anybody tell me what method I should use?

use buydebug cheats, then on the fish spawner tab, you could find fishes there. Place the boxes on your pond.

Use the cheats:
testingcheatsenabled true, then
buydebug

The buydebug cheat opens a ? category in buy mode, sort by function, which contains almost all of the hidden items.
look for the fishspawners, and place what you like onto the lake or pond.

you can turn off the buydebug cheat with 'buydebug off'
turn of the testing cheats with 'testingcheatsenabled false'

This is somewhat related. Do you have to place spawners from new EPs in old towns yourself or will the starfish from SHT just start showing up on their own? They haven't shown up in my current game, but I realized that I had no salt water ponds or salt water spawners in my game. I know I'd have to put that in to make the fish show up in my particular world -- I just meant IF I already had salt water and spawners, would the star fish just start showing up? Or would I have to add in some starfish spawners?

I have found the new starfish in Sunset Valley without changing anything. And I think in Hidden Springs as well. Not sure about all the other towns?
