:help: please some one help i have sims 3 ,and after a couple of hours it crashes stuttering like its stuck to a black screen.i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game updating my drivers and am now in the process of reinstalling again please can someone tell me if my machine is too old. here are my System Information

I'm afraid the problem is your computer. The three important things in a computer when it comes to playing Sims 3 are CPU, RAM (memory) and graphics card. On all three of those counts, your computer falls far below what's needed to play even just the basegame: by trying to force your computer to play Showtime, you're doing serious damage to it.

Have a look at this, if you like metaphorical explanations: Game Help:Your Computer is Like a Car.

In this case, there's no point in trying to upgrade your computer so it can play Sims 3: it's too old, the components are all obsolete. You're going to have to buy a new computer if you want to keep playing TS3 in the long term.
