Hey I installed The sims 3 on a Dell XPS on windows 7. I also installed world adventures. I started to get that annoying lag problem so I installed error trap and overwatch. I don't know if they've helped stop further lag problems because the main thing that solved the issue was using 'resetsim *'. Anyways I hadn't played The Sims 3 long enough to know if the issue was occuring as a result of installing the mods. The issue is sometimes I'll log into The Sims 3 and I'll have masses of money. I'll often log in and see that I've got like $40,000 or in my most recent case $90,000. It's a bit annoying because I'm not trying to rush this game and I know I can buy/sell to take the cash off but I'd rather just stop this from happening. It's as if the game is still running even after I quit. I've left Sim autonomy on full.
Also not really relevant to the issue because it was occuring before but I've installed ambitions and generations. Thought it was worth a mentioning if any solutions conflicts with these.
Really appreciate any help. I've probably done something obvious but I just don't know what.
