Does a mod exist which allows you to build on every space of a plot? like.. you know the spaces which you're usually not allowed to build on.. like the very edges of the plot, is there a way you can build on them so you can essentially make the plot one big room, if you understand what I mean?
Cause i want to make 2 homes that connect to eachother, but are two different plots, like terraced?
Thank you x

You can build fences right up to the edge, which is as close as you can get. Or you could build both houses on one lot, and set them up as apartments, if you have LN.

Plots have to have at least a 1-tile wide gap between them, so even if you used fences, the buildings wouldn't be connected. If you don't use fences as fake walls on the outside edges, all of your buildings - if they're on separate plots - will be at least 3 tiles apart.
The only way to get a seamless look is to build them on the same plot.

Has anyone made a wall-height fence yet? I was looking for one to give the appearance of an alleyway between two lots. At least that decreases the interlot space to three.

I think what studio954 is asking for is a CASTable wall-height fence that can be made to look like a wall. Like the bipartisan fence, but exactly wall height. I've wanted one for a long time too and even asked here but have never found one.

But even if you could build a "wall" to the edge of the lot using a fence-as-wall, you wouldn't be able to roof it, so it seems of limited usefulness.

True, but by building a real wall one square in then adding a floor tile as ersatz roof, you can give the appearance of a lot=edge wall which, for my alleyway purposes would be enough. I found this full height glass fence which works great for contemporary lots, but would make a sucky alley wall!

You can't use the roof tool but I build a lot of modern buildings with flat roofs. I also to sometimes add protrusions and it would be nice not to have to bump the entire building back a tile to do so when I'm trying to get a "crowded" city look.
I've also wanted a CAST-able wall-height fence when trying to do certain things with the CFE cheat, and also sometimes, just as a taller fence.

this kind of looks like a wall: http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/details/category/sims3-objects/title/fence-provence/id/1024509/ and you can color it like a wall it appears.

Thanks! That looks workable. :)
