I have the Sims 2 Bodyshop on my computer.
I recently download some Sims PACKAGE files. And installed them as such;
Extracted from winRAR > EA Games > Sims 2 Bodyshop > Downloads
I put the files in there.
I open the Sims 2 bodyshop later, but the items never show up?
I have tried clicking the "Custom" button, but it stays constantly grey, and never responds.
Not sure what I am doing wrong D:

Your Bodyshop folder has a Downloads folder? Mine just reads the CC that is in My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads. (Or in Saved Sims, for a sim.) Do you have any applicable CC in the game's Downloads folder?

Yes, but for some reason the game would just not pick up on it.
I also downloaded the clean installer, and it also acted as if I had nothing installed O_o

It's weird, but when in my Sims 2 folder, there is actually no Downloads folder in there.

IIRC, there isn't a Downloads folder by default. You have to make it yourself.

Yes, you sometimes need to make it yourself, or get BodyShop or HomeCrafter to do it for you. And you need to be -certain- you spelled it with the capitol D and the "s"
Once your CC is in the right place, everything should be able to read it.
Hang on: You have to have opened Bodyshop in order to discover that it wasn't finding your CC... If you saved anything at all in Bodyshop, it should have created a Downloads folder.
Are you sure you are looking in the EA Games folder in Documents, not Program Files ?

I did have BodyShop installed, and I had a downloads folder.
That was the problem.
When I went into BodyShop (It came with it's own downloads folder already there), nothing ever installed when I put the CC into it.

I have no idea why your Bodyshop has a Downloads folder, but since it doesn't seem to be reading it try making the Downloads folder in the Sims 2 folder in Documents. That is where it should be. Your CC should be able to be read there.
(Is this the Bodyshop that comes with the game, or the downloaded one that was a preview of Sims 2? If it's the downloaded one, you probably will have better luck with the one that ships with the game.)

I have the original on PS2.
The problem is, when I went around at my games store, the game is so old that no one sells it.
I ended up downloading it.
It didn't come with any BodyShop. I ended up downloading BodyShop separately.
Also, when I do download CC, and put it into the Sims 2 downloads folder, will it show up in the Create a Sim, or BodyShop?

No one seemed to have trouble with it in the comments.
I uninstalled it, now I'm reinstalling it again.
If I add the CC to the Downloads folder, will it show up in BodyShop or when you just create a Sim like normal?

Properly installed custom content should be visible in the appropriate place within the game - BodyShop and Create a Sim for hair, eyes, clothes, saved sims, etc., the lot bin for houses, the catalog for objects. If there's a mesh problem you'll get a broken thumbnail, probably showing a duplicate of a base game item.

(I hope it was just BodyShop you downloaded from the pirate bay, not the game. We can't help with a torrented copy of the game.)
If you have a system that can handle EPs, each EP comes with a copy of Bodyshop. It's not only in the base game. If you get a collection, the copy of Bodyshop that is most likely to work is the one from the latest EP .

if you can't buy a physical copy of the base game in a store, see if you can buy it from Origin, or (preferably) buy a disk of either Deluxe or Double Deluxe. We do not provide support for pirated software.
