It looks like your resource.cfg is a text file, judging by the icon, and guessing what "documento de Te..." is. You probably have extensions hidden, so the .txt at the end of the resource.cfg.txt is being hidden from view.

Rename it so that it is resource.cfg with no txt at the end and it should work. The easiest way to see the full extension of a file is to right click on it and choose properties.

if extensions were hidden, wouldn't the ".package" in all the screenshots be hidden as well, unless they were all ending up with double extensions also?

Is the newsea hair dated 1998 really for Sims 3? :)
If you have a mix of Sims 2 content in there, you should run Delphy's Dashboard and disable those.

Do the 2 test files work, before you added all the rest? The nointro and nobuildsparkles?

That newsea hair yu016f viking hair appears to be a TS2 file, unless they have a hair exactly the same for TS3 with the same filename that happened to be made in 1998 on the same day they made the TS2 version (cos the TS2 version of the hair mesh has the same filename and same date as your file there).

if extensions were hidden, wouldn't the ".package" in all the screenshots be hidden as well, unless they were all ending up with double extensions also?Extension hiding only hides known extensions - that is, extensions which have a default program associated. So unless the OP has S3PE, SimPE, or something like that installed, .package would still show while .txt wouldn't. :)

I didn't know that. Thank you for telling me!

(BTW, I love the cat who sees a lion in the mirror in your avatar.)
