Priemium Sims Objects from SIM3 website

Has anyone bought these object. I did get the rock wall which I really like. Now I want the new stuff like the deep fryer and ice cream maker. Does anyone have these and think it is worth it? Or have you bought any other premium objects?

Some premium objects are, some aren't. I like the rock wall, but never use the massager/chair. I'd like the fryer and ice cream maker, but won't buy the bundle to get them, as I really don't like the kitchen/dining room they're selling with them.

I'm very tempted to get the Goth collection (see another thread on here about reactions to it), as I kind of like the furniture, and would certainly like the tablet.

I have the deep fryer & the ice cream maker and I love them. Some of the new foods you can make with the deep fryer look like EA went through their "old meshes" bin for things they decided not to put in past EPs and combined them and slapped a food texture on it and made turkey. But other than the creepy food, I think they're pretty nice.

i use the sleep pod and foot massager in my salons...
the deep fryer and ice cream maker at the pool....
that ipod can be used anywhere...even when traveling
wind chimes are a nice touch on any porch
i put my rock wall at the ski-diving center...
and the baby swing is a god send for twins and triplets!!

I've managed to get mods for my premium goodies in order to make them worth it. My favorite one would be the wind chimes. I've never felt the need to mod those.

Usually premium items are released for individual sale about 1-2 months after it was released with the set :)

But I thought of that massage chair in the sims and now I want to build a mall. I really wish EA would make it easier to build shop venues...other than a food, relic, grocery, and pet shop. Just a nice shop register where we can choose our own items for sale would be nice. Now..why won't they make that as a premium item!

You have to update a patch to make the new objects work. Is that included in the download. Or I am all patched up to 1.33 does that coun?

Does the deep fryer ever catch fire on it's own? I can't be sure but I thought someone's did in an LP

I've only used it a couple of times so I have no idea if it catches on fire or not. Probably will if your sim gets distracted and walks away while it's deep-frying but I don't even know if they can walk away while something's cooking.

When I get these preimum objects when I download the fix it will work? What is that 1.15 patch they are talking about on the SIM3 webpage?

well they really should change that....you need the latest patch...1.33 for the latest PO's to work

I hate the store model and how they add things that I think are essential to the experience separate... It's just silly. But, what can I say? EA wants to make money.

I hate it too. My point was...if they are going to make premium store content, why not make it something useful?

I have the rock climbing wall, hypnotizer, complete magic set with spellbook, and the baby swing. The rock climbing wall is useful, the baby swing is useful, the magic set isn't. It's not what I thought it would be. I thought sims who learned spells would have a new skill. It's not like that, you get a moodlet instead. And the spells you can cas are useless. Summon which would have been cool, if the sims don't leave right after you summon them. I don't know, I waiting for the magic ep. I really like magic to be in my game.
