NPC Heckling animals?

I think I am seeing NPCs heckling the raccoon in my yard. The NPC and the raccoon will stand several squares apart. The raccoon will suddenly stretch out to freaky human sized proportions and then a minus relationship sign will flash over the heads of both of them. I never saw this before SHT was installed, and NPCs seem to be obsessed with heckling.

Is there a chance that they are heckling animals? Has anyone else seen this?

Wait, forget the heckling. You have a raccoon that becomes human sim sized??? Maybe the raccoons have some hidden ability to shape shift into a............were-raccoon. That, or a were-bear. Or, EA never expected someone to be stupid enough to heckle a raccoon, and didn't anticipate how pissed off a raccoon can get.

Oh you know how it is, they get that freaky skinny thing going (like when a cat tries to ring the doorbell in Bridgeport) and the tail looks obscene because it becomes a long skinny pole poking in front of them between their legs. I am sick of the heckling. I just got a guy heckling his wife while she was in labor. Jerk!

Oh, I saw a dog stretch like this for the first time in my game yesterday. I wonder if it just got heckled?

I also saw that one of my sims wanted to heckle his baby. That seemed kinda cruel.

MY Sims have heckled horses.. even toddlers..
