I have followed all of the instructions on how to remove custom content, and followed through on the troubleshooting stuff after that. I'm horrible at computer stuff, so bear with me. I was going through my Sims 3 Backup installing small portions into my Sims 3 file per instructions. Once I reached the DCcache file, I noticed some things were not in my sims 3 that were in my backup file. So I moved them (dcc.ent and dcdb0.ebc) after noting they were not the particular files that were supposed to have been removed. Once I put these in there, my babies look weird again. But without those files, I cannot even play the game with the babies in it. I'm just not sure what to do at this point.
Help?

You could try Sims3Dashboard (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=387006) and point it to DCCache folder (File/Scan Folder) it proberly won't fix anything for you but it might show if there's corupt stuff.
Thuogh most likely the baby "clothing" got associated with a corupt cloth item and only way to get ride of that is to find the item and remove it through the launcer.
You can also try clear out "user data" this is done by renaming The Sims 3 folder in documents to something else and then start launcer or game to have it make a new one (game will be as when you started it first time no cc at all), then copy the affected save file and try start it, i think this is actually a part of the guide but just try with the save-file and nothing else as this should force game to replace the corupt item/s, although be aware that all other cc you might have used will also be replaced/removed.

What do you mean by "look weird"? Could you show us a screenshot? Miscategorised CC isn't the only thing that can cause problems with babies, though it's a big one. :)

Well, for some reason, Prt Screen shows only a black screen. *facepalm* Basically, the "weird" baby was like a stretchy line, going from the crib up through the top of the house. O.o

It will proberly also make things distorted when you goto map view if it's the same as i have, it's an transformed mesh and it's badly miss catagorized and babies tends to be very "found" of that mesh, you have gotten it from a d/l'ed sim and only way to make sure it's gone is to delete all files in DCCache, and reinstall all sims3packs after that.
I tried uninstall all my sims and it was still there, only way i got ride of it was to do the above.
I suggest you use this tool (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=390235) to check your sims3packs to see which have miss catagorized/corupt item/s and read the comments there is an updated version in one of them.
The updated version give better info if stuff is attached to the sim itself.

Ok...I tried the install thingie that cleans up mods, and found a lot of corrupt/conflicting files. Cleared them up. But I still have funky looking babies. I did find that when I triggered age one of them (the stretchy one I can't click on), it took care of the half blackened looking skin. But she's wearing a pair of adult boots lol. Anyway, I managed to get a picture (um..."c" for screenshot *facepalm*). It's attached.
On the dcache (sp), I deleted it. But I didn't reload anything in. Lost the dad's hair lol. I should so stick with vanilla in game, eh?

You've deleted all the files in DCCache and the problem still exists? Or is the baby now wearing (the wrong) EA clothes instead of CC clothes?
No need to stick to vanilla, just use .package files and avoid the official site like the plague that it is. :)

LOL...I still have the problem, but when I forced the child to age up (to toddler) she was wearing adult high heels O.o.

If you have deleted all files in DCCache and not reinstalled any sims3packs, it's proberly from a package-file that have a misscategorized item try Sims3Dashboard (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=387006) and let it scan your mods folder, though if it finds any thing corupt i suggest you manually rename/remove (just adding something after .package like .ggg or anything else is enough for game to not use it) in your mods folder, instead of using the program to fix it.
And if you haven't, clear DCBackup folder except the ccmerged file, they are mainly for if you export something as sims3pack and use any installed cc (including store items) , the files in there shouldn't affect game play but one never knows.
