I have heard it is easy to convert child clothing but I have not found out how! How can I change some child male clothing into child female clothing?

You can do this with CTU or s3OC.
If you just want to aneble it for males i would turn the clothing into unisex.
Let me look for link,

Edit, White knows, i am sure :)

If it's CC:
- Open the file in CTU
- Go to the Part Category tab
- Tick female
- Commit, save

If it's basegame stuff, basically the same, except you open CTU and then pick the outfit you want to change from the list on the first tab; also, in this case you should tick female and untick male (otherwise it'll show up twice for boys).

If it's EP stuff, say - there are a few methods for EP stuff: some are so easy you could do them with your eyes shut and your hands tied behind your back, but are so messy they'd make a hoarder cry; some are easy enough that you could do them with one eye shut and your hands free, and make nice, neat, tidy files. I won't explain them all in this post for fear of making your head explode. ;)

If it's EA stuff and you're comfortable with opening and extracting files from the game packages (FullBuild0.package and the various FullBuild_p<nn>.package for the expansion and stuff packs) and using s3pe, you can extract the CASP for each clothing, import them into s3pe, click the Grid button, expand Age/Gender, expand Gender, and set both male and female to True. These would work as default replacements enabling the clothing for both genders. The same method works for CC - open the package in s3pe, highlight the CASP, and click Grid.

I generally recommend using S3OC without renumbering for that purpose, since manually poking around in the FullBuilds is not necessarily the best option for a complete newbie :p . That does mean that you have to then add a step to clean the file in S3PE, though, which is unfortunate. I'm still not sure which method wins out.

Very true. A tool that would find and open the game packages read-only for easy exploration and extraction would be very useful for this kind of thing, IMO.

Thank you so much, this is really helpful also!
