Hello, my dear fellow Simmers!

I have been making sims movies since I was six, yet, now, obviously, they're far, far better. I always record in HQ and turn off sound, but I was wondering how people get those awesome camera panning techniques (Did I use that in the right context?) I have gunmod's camera hack, and I attempted to install perameters (Sorry about my awful spelling -_-) but It did not work when I tried filming in the game. Any help?? :D

I Know I May Not be the best for This! but I Got an epic technique off YT so This will Sort your troubles! (Good as i was wondering and found it!)

It May Not work at first but you have to edit the files to your tastes! But this Vid on YT Can tell you all that!

You don't actually install parameters, they come with the game but they are really bad.
Copy and paste this into your My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Cameras
and then open up FirstPersonCameras.txt with Notepad.
Delete everything in the document, but not the document itself or you won't have a Cameraman mode/TAB mode.
Replace it with this:

I got it from here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkBgGQzQ6Iw)
They're called parameters, and to use them you press TAB, find an angle you like and press CTRL and any number 4-9. To return to that angle, press the number you just pressed but without CTRL. For example, if I wanted the camera centered on my Sim, I would go to my Sim, find the angle I want, and then for example, I'll use 6. So I hold CTRL and press 6 at the same time. Then to return back to that angle, I'd just press 6. But to have them in your movie, you have to actually film the movement. So if I wanted that parameter in my movie, I would start recording before I press 6, so the parameter shows in my movie.

Also, you may already know these but here are more tips:
Open up the cheat box, that is CTRL, Shift and C all at once. At the small white bar at the top of the screen type in plumbbobtoggle and that green diamond (or red if you don't take care of your sims) disappears. Open the cheat bar again, and type in showheadlines off. This makes speech and thought bubbles disappear, so if your Sims are talking about another Sim, it'll help if the speech bubble above their head doesn't have handcuffs in it.
Just use lots of custom content, use parameters for scrolling around the scene, clutter up your set using OMSP's, and use extras when your sims aren't at home. Don't film at community lots, there's a mod that lets you have 50 sims in a household, not at CAS but by moving them in. Don't film on community lots because you can't control them, instead use that mod and make some people stand around, talk, etc. Don't make them too distracting, you should still see the main characters.
Also use lots of poseboxes and then once your sim is in a pose that overlays, use Decorgal's talk hack (requires OFB, NL and Uni I think) and your sim will use that slow talk movement instead of waving their arms crazily.
Hope this helps.
