Delphy's Multi Pack Installer.. can it install worlds?

I decided I'm not going to use the launcher anymore (too many problems), but I have some worlds I would like to install from the exchange so their in .sims3pack format. I tried to use Delphy's extractor to get the packages out but the world doesn't show up in my game. Is it possible to install it with the extractor? If not is there any other way?

Worlds have to be installed through the launcher, for it to work it needs:
1: Have the world ( .world) to be in Installed Worlds
2: Have a refrence in DCCache
Which i belive only the lancher will do.

Not only that, but worlds extracted as .package format can mimic the "blue lot issue" - completely screwing up the terrain in your other worlds when the .package files are loaded in your game. Is just a bad thing all around - install worlds through the Launcher, or find whatever that other sims3pack manangement/installer tool is (I don't use it so I forget what it's called/who it's by but I know there is one).

Okay thanks, I think you're talking about 3viewer? I'll try it again I was having problems getting it started.

No 3viewer is outdated, so if you use that to install sims3packs your begging for problems.
HystericalParoxysm is proberly talking about CCMagic, i have tried it but didn't like the way it works but some like it.
There's also TSR Launcher not sure though how it with later versions of game, was long time since i used ut.

So it says that it cannot install worlds, but my launcher won't even work! It just stopped opening up out of no where and I only have Late Night and base game. Sometimes when I click it it opens in windows task manager but a few seconds later closes. I've tried the firewall method that blocks it but it's not blocking the launcher and I would really like to install some worlds. Should I start a new thread?

If your game is patched up to atleast 1.29 (i think it was) make sure you open Sims3LauncherW.exe in The Sims 3 folder where game is installed, it's under game/bin.
EA changed so that game can be started from for base game TS3W.exe and the launcher from Sims3LauncherW.exe no matter what EP/SP's one have.

So I tried it and it still closes after a few seconds of it running through task manager. I decided I'm just going to uninstall and reinstall to start fresh :)
